How it works?
Becoming high quality nZnO textile product, we choose a potential Nano Zinc Oxide as a key material then embed it into the fibre via in-house technology. This results in creating the permanent anti-bacterial fibre for hale and hearty purpose.

Insightful Technology
We add the nZnO masterbatch mixtures with fibre during extrusion and spinning process of the yarn, this application offers modified fibre structure which gives better yarn performances and environmental friendly product unlike the conventional coating method (non-permanent) does.

This state-of- art technology also shows that this permanent ability helps to eliminate the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae. These two bacteria cause malodour, skin diseases, allergies, and other respiratory diseases. This functionality has been proven by international lab testing (See appendix).

Certificated by international evaluation agencies

PERMA is a permanent antimicrobial textile created by our unique technology, which has been recognized by international quality inspection agencies for textiles. The antimicrobial properties of PERMA have been assessed by SGS, one of the world’s leading laboratories, using the quantitative test standard (AATCC100) for Bacteria reduction: 97.31% for Bacillus pneumoniae and 99.9% for Staphylococcus aureus. The Thai Textile Institute (THTI) has also proven that the antimicrobial properties of PERMA textiles last even after 150 washes.

Permanent antimicrobial function by our unique technology

PERMA is a polyester fibre with nano zinc oxide embedded at molecular level. In contrast to coatings, it exerts its antimicrobial function from the inside rather than on the surface of the fibre, therefore remains antimicrobial function throughout the product’s lifetime. Our products also comply with Intertek, JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) and other international standards.

Healthy, comfortable living and eco-friendly technology

PERMA is an environmentally friendly textile. The zinc oxide nanoparticles are embedded into the fibre rather than onto the surface of the fibre, therefore do not lose its function through washing, unlike the coated textile. From manufacturing at the factory to laundering at home, there is no runoff into water, with no negative impact on the natural ecosystem.

PERMA is a permanent antimicrobial textile created by our unique technology. It inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae, which are present in our daily lives, and is effective in preventing skin diseases, allergies, rhinitis and unpleasant odors caused by sweat. Other benefits include UV protection and quick-drying to keep the skin clean and moisturized.

The technology used to embed the nano zinc oxide in PERMA’s textile products has been proven by world-leading testing organizations such as SGS, Intertek, BOKEN and KAKEN in terms of performance. The technology was also certified by the Thailand Textile
Institute (THTI) for its ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria which can lead to unpleasant odors and many health problems

  • According to an antimicrobial function test on textiles by the world class testing
    laboratory SGS, PERMA’s textiles have been found to have more than 97.31%
    effect on the disease-causing bacteria Klebsiella pneumoniae as well as more
    than 99.94% effect to Staphylococcus aureus.
